About the CCS Foundation

Promote learning and recognize and reward student and staff achievement.

The Foundation was organized in 1986 by the Cleveland County Board of Education as a non-profit corporation to solicit contributions for specific projects of the school system.

As a separate tax exempt corporation, the Foundation can receive gifts from individuals, businesses, industries, civic groups and others. These contributions may be in money, equipment, real or personal property or stocks and bonds. All donations are tax deductible.

Donors may designate how their contributions are to be used - such as for scholarships, building projects or toward new or established programs. Undesignated donations will go into the Foundation’s general fund and used by the Board of Directors for the benefit of the school system.
