Project Status: This opportunity is closed for bids (See Above for upset bid information).

The school district may require up to 12 months to remove all assets and completely vacate the premises from the Central School property.

All bids should be sealed and delivered to sent to Dan Karpinski at 400 West Marion Street, Shelby, NC by 4 p.m. on Wednesday, November 3, 2021. The 5% deposit will be required from the highest bidder by 4 p.m. on Friday, November 5, 2021. Contingent upon the receipt of bids and the action of the Cleveland County Board of Commissioners, the Cleveland County Board of Education will consider bids at the November 8th business meeting.

Cleveland County Schools will utilize the upset bid process as outlined in Policy 6560 and Article 12 of Chapter 160A of the enacted legislation of the NC General Statutes.
