OUR GREAT CUSTODIANS

OUR GREAT CUSTODIANS

When we were told that our students could not attend school for two weeks, the North custodians, Roxanne Baucom and Elizabeth Champion, immediately began to clean and disinfect our school. Their hope, along with all of ours, was that we would return to school on March 30th and proceed with our year. However, when the Governor extended the students' return to school until at least the middle of May, Mrs. Baucom and Mrs. Champion didn't waste any time. They immediately started on some projects that they had not had time to get to last summer.

Our second-grade hall, art room, computer lab, media center office, and teacher's lounge have had a major facelift. Stripping off old yucky wax and using a new product they have learned about. The floors are now shiny and bright! The rooms seem bigger and definitely brighten the mood. Now they have moved on to classrooms.

I am so thankful for their drive and determination to work so hard to make our school look so beautiful! The students and teachers will love North, even more, when they return!
