Public Notice of Destruction of Records
Annually, records concerning children with disabilities in the Cleveland County Schools will be destroyed 6 years after students leave the education program for children with disabilities, if no litigation, claim, audit, or other official action involving the records has been initiated.
Parents, guardians, surrogate parents, or eligible students may obtain these records prior to destruction, if desired, by contacting Amber Cox, EC Data Manager at 704.476.8313 or alcox@clevelandcountyschools.org. Minimal information from these records will be maintained indefinitely at the Cleveland County Schools Central Services Building, 400 W. Marion Street.
