Communications

Welcome

Cleveland County Schools is committed to open, consistent, and proactive communication with our students, families, staff, and community partners. We believe strong communication builds trust, strengthens relationships, and supports the success of every student.

The Communications Office leads a comprehensive, districtwide communication strategy designed to keep our community informed and engaged. This strategy includes:

  • Implementing a communications plan that aligns with district goals to ensure a unified, “one voice” approach.

  • Developing effective branding and marketing initiatives that showcase the excellence and achievements of our schools.

  • Establishing clear standards for communication, customer service, and responsiveness across all departments.

  • Continuously researching and adapting to preferred communication channels and technologies used by our stakeholders.

  • Building and maintaining positive, proactive partnerships with local and regional media outlets.

Cleveland County Schools recognizes the importance of the media in sharing news and information with the community. The Communications and Digital Media Officer coordinates the release of district information to ensure accuracy and timeliness.

Social Media Guidelines

Welcome to the official social media guidelines for Cleveland County Schools (CCS).

CCS uses social media to connect with our community and share information about district programs, activities, events, and news that reflect the work happening across our schools. These platforms are intended to promote transparency, celebrate student and staff achievements, and provide updates on matters of public interest.

We encourage open and respectful dialogue. Please review our Social Media Guidelines and other key policies below to learn how to engage responsibly with CCS on social media.
