Posted on 10/15/2020

The State Health Plan Open Enrollment is now underway and the deadline for enrollment is October 31, 2020, for all eligible employees. All employees currently enrolled in the State Health Plan will be automatically enrolled in the 70/30 plan and must take action to reduce their premium or enroll in the 80/20 plan.

2021 Open Enrollment Highlights:

  • Premiums are frozen at 2020 rates!
  • You have two plan options for 2021 (Traditional 70/30 or Enhanced 80/20).
  • You must take action if you want to enroll in the 80/20 Plan or reduce your premium in either the 70/30 or the 80/20 Plan.
  • For either plan option, tobacco users only have to visit a Primary Care Provider or a CVS Minute Clinic by November 30th, 2020, to complete a tobacco cessation counseling session in order to earn the premium credit for 2021.
  • Before the end of the year, all employees enrolled in coverage will receive a new State Health Plan ID Card in the mail.
  • Important: To complete Open Enrollment, you must click "Save" on your Medical Summary page and then click "Save Changes" your Open Enrollment Elections page. Please make sure to print or screenshot your Confirmation Statement.
  • New Hire Reminder: If you are a recent new hire, you will also need to complete the Open Enrollment for your 2021 benefits.
