Honors Pre-calculus

20705C Honors Pre-calculus

Level:  10, 11, 12                                                    Credit: 1 Unit

Prerequisite: Honors Algebra II w/C or better.

DESCRIPTION:  This course will pro­vide students with a strong back­ground in higher-level mathe­matics.  It is intended for col­lege-bound students, especially those planning to take AP Calculus. Topics include algebraic, linear, and polynomial functions, logarithmic and exponential functions, trigonometric functions, infinite and finite sequences and series, and an introduction into limits.
