MEDICATION AUTHORIZATION FOR STUDENTS

Medication that needs to be administered at school will be kept in the school office. A school medication form with the name of medication, correct dosage, time to be given, parents signature, and doctor signature will need to accompany the medication. Please do not ask your child to keep the medicine in their book bag, or classroom, but to please bring it to the office. Medicines are safe when administered as directed for the patient; however, they can be harmful if taken too often or by the wrong person. All medication is kept in a secured area.

GAMES/TOYS

Students are not allowed to bring toys or games to school. This practice often results in disruptions on the buses or in the classrooms and the loss or destruction of the items. Any toys or games that students bring will be taken from the student, and placed in the principal's office until a parent/guardian picks them up.

P.T.O.

Our school has an active Parent/Teacher Organization. It provides services for our students and school that otherwise would not be available. The group meets periodically throughout the school year and works closely with the school principal. You, as parents, are encouraged to become a participant in the good things happening at our school. Contact any member of our school family for more information. Below you will see a playground which is the result of a PTO fund raiser. Another fundraiser helped to provide a school sign/marquee at the front of the building to announce important events. We welcome you to come and be a part of P.T.O.
