Here you will find info. for teachers and administrators; even classroom helps. There is a section on the main page for educators as well as students.

Learn NC

This is an excellent resource. It has the NC Standard Course of Study (SCS) as well as lesson plans correlated to the SCS and much, much, more!

NC WiseOwl

This is an excellent resource for students and teachers. Teachers in particular that are in graduate school can find online resources here for research papers and assignments.

Kathy Schrock's Guide For Educators

Considered by many educators to be one of the best educational resources on the web. You can find lesson plans; or make your own puzzles, quizes, and worksheets.

ABC Teacher

This is a great resource if you do lots of themed units. It also has prepared handouts or forms for certain topics including writing. There is a nice reading comprehension section.

Enchanted Learning

Another great resource if you like to do lots of themed activites.

Children's Literature Web Guide

This web site has links to many many author and illustrator home pages.

Digital Copyright SAS in School

This web site is a good resource for copyright laws, especially if you have students who are doing projects involving the internet.

Cyberguides

This is California based; however, it has cyberguides for many many books you may be reading with your students. Each guide has lessons using the internet to extend student learning. (Great way to use the ibooks.)

Rhyme Zone

This is a great site if you need a rhyming word. It also has a thesaurus, and dictionary.
