We are proud to announce that Heather Lemmons (Shelby Middle School) is the Cleveland County EC Teacher of Excellence for 2012 - 2013. Heather has 14 years of experience, is National Board Certified with an M.Ed. and is HQ in all academic areas for general education. Heather is involved in many leadership activities both at SMS and in the community. She is known for her use of technology in the classroom. Heather will be honored at the North Carolina EC Conference in Greensboro this fall. She will also be presenting a session at the conference on collaborative teaching. Congratulations Heather!
