The Shelby Middle School Cheerleaders cheered at the Duke vs. UNC game on Saturday, October 20, 2012.  The cheerleaders were invited to cheer on the Duke Blue Devils and got to meet some of the Duke cheerleaders as well.  The SMS cheerleaders are led by 8th grade teachers Caroline Nickle and Lindsey Holland.
