Baseball All-Conference: Congratulations to Grant Byers for being selected as 2013 South Mountain Athletic 2A/3A Conference Co-Player of the Year and Coach Emery for being selected as Coach of the Year. Selected for 2013 South Mountain Athletic 2A/3A All-Conference for Shelby were Grant Byers, Jackson Mims, Jarren Byrd, Chandler Young, Alston Bridges, Cody Fitch and Thomas Weaver. Ladies' Soccer All-Conference: Congratulations to the Lady Golden Lions that were selected to the 2013 South Mountain Athletic 2A/3A All-Conference. Chosen from Shelby High were Morgan Greene, senior goalkeeper; Ellen Keeley, senior defender; Jordan Mitchell, senior defender; Lisa Nanney, junior midfielder; Chase Thompson, senior midfielder and Macey Wilkins, senior goalkeeper.
