Support

Support classes include the Media Center, Computer Lab, Physical Education, Music, and Art.  All students attend these classes.  Other support classes include AIG and ESL for students who qualify.  Our support staff includes our custodial staff.

Technology Ashley Craig Email Technology Center Website	Mrs. Craig graduated cum laude from Montreat College with a B.S. degree in Elementary Education in December 2001 and from Appalachian State University in May 2007 with a M.A. in Educational Media with a concentration in Instructional Technology Specialist/Computers.  She taught four and a half years in Rutherford County with Third grade Title 1, and as a Fourth Grade and Fifth Grade teacher.  She is the President of the Greater Cleveland Reading Association, a member of the North Carolina Reading Association, and the International Reading Association.  This is her second year at SES.
Physical Education Mark Sterious Springmore Physical Education Website Email	Mr. Sterious graduated from Gardner-Webb University in 2000.  He began teaching at Springmore in 2000.  He also coaches football and boys track at Crest Middle School.  He is a huge fan of the Philadelphia Eagles.
Music Ed Miller Email	Mr. Miller is from Lebanon, PA (near Hershey, where they make the chocolate) and he moved to Hickory, NC in 2003.  He received his Bachelor's degree in music education from Lenoir-Rhyne College in August 2007.  He is really excited to be teaching music at Springmore and looks forward to an amazing year!

ESL Aristela Torres ESL Website Email	Mrs. Torres is from Venezuela (in South America).  She graduated from La Metropolitana University in Caracas, Venezuela with a B.S. degree in Modern Languages.  She holds Spanish, ESL Certification, and is a Legal Translator.  She has been living in the US and teaching in CCS since 1993.  She has been at Springmore since 2000.
