Student Services
Student services and Title 1 provide extra services for students who qualify.
Special Education Services are available for students who qualify under federal and state guidelines.

| What is Title 1? |
|
*Federal Assistance Program: *Goal: provide high-quality education for every child in order for every child to meet the standards set by the state *Springmore's Title 1 Targets: reading strategies that develop and strengthen phonemic awareness, phonics, fluency, vocabulary and comprehension skills *Eligibility: K-2 literacy assessments, 3-5 EOG scores and DIBELS assessments are used to determine which students are eligible. (STAR reports, teacher recommendations and other forms of assessments may also be used.) These same forms of assessments are used to measure student progress throughout the year. *Participating Students: After determining eligibility, students are served 30 minutes to one hour, one to five days per week. *Parent Involvement: Newsletters, Progress Reports, Meetings, Special Parent Involvement Activities, Workshops, etc. *Upcoming Events: Magical Moments Dinner, Magic Show, and Annual Public Meeting October 10, 2006 Dinner 6:15 Magic Show 7:00 |
