Every day in first grade we practice writing interesting sentences and stories. You can help by asking your child to write about something that he/she enjoys like riding bikes or going camping. First graders also love to write about people they know like their big sisters or good friends. We use "Five Stars" to help our students remember what makes a great story. We look forward to reading many "Five Star" papers.
