The school cafeteria serves breakfast and lunch. Parents are informed of the daily selections through the newspaper, the school's website and a monthly menu sent home with the student. The prices are as follows:

The regular student for breakfast is $.75.

The regular student for lunch is $1.20.

The reduced student for breakfast is $.30.

The reduced student for lunch is $.40.

Adult Lunch $2.00 Adult Breakfast $1.00

Free and/or reduced meals are available to children who qualify under federal and state regulations. All students will be given an application for free and/or reduced meals. Please complete the application and return it to your child's teacher . A parent may fill out an application at anytime during the school year.

Parents are encouraged to have lunch with their child. It is helpful if our cafeteria staff knows in advance that you are coming. Please send a note or call the office if your are planning to eat lunch with your child. Please do not bring food or drinks from fast food restaurants. If student is allergic to any food item, the school will need a medical statement from a physician indicating the allergy.

The cafeteria uses a computer program for accounting purposes. Each child is assigned an identification number at the beginning of each school year. For your convenience, you may pre-pay any amount of money into your child's meal account. You may also pay daily. Checks should be made to Springmore Elementary School. It can carry over from week by week and from year to year. You may put any amount of money on the meal account at anytime. Money on the meal account can only be used for meal and milk only!! No extra sale items such as popcorn, ice cream, etc. can be charged. Students may charge up to two meals. A student breakfast can't be charged. Students are allowed to bring their lunch; however they may not bring soft drinks or sodas. Extra sale items such as popcorn, ice cream, etc. will be available as the child goes through the serving line. The account may be blocked from children using their account for extra items and they must pay in cash. Please contact the cafeteria manager if you would like your account blocked.
