Monday - November 16th 1st block: Practice writing an essay on Bullying. 2nd, 3rd, and 4th: Practice writing an essay on "Student of the Year". 2nd Block begin working on the Week 12 SAT word maps - due Friday. READING LOGS ARE DUE 11/17 (3 HOURS REQUIRED AND PARENT/GUARDIAN SIGNATURE IS REQUIRED) Tuesday 11-17: Study week 12 Spelling/Stems. Test will be on Friday. Read AR books Wednesday 11/18: Grammar Workbook pages 190 (we will complete in class) 191, and 192. Periods and end marks Thursday 11/19: Grammar Workbook pages 193(completed in class) 194, and 195. Commas 2nd Block bring your SAT word maps for Week 12 tomorrow. Friday 11/20: Spelling/Stems test today. 2nd Block's SAT word maps are due. NO HOMEWORK :) HAVE A GREAT WEEKEND ! |

Extra Credit (+ 10 points for any literature test, spelling/stems test, or grammar test this year) 1. Bring in information concerning "Thanksgiving" (origin, in America, traditions, etc.) 2. Write a 4 or 5 paragraph essay entitled "Why I Am Thankful". Be sure to have a topic sentence in each paragraph and stay focused. |
