Tips for Success Encourage your child to study class notes daily, even if there is no written assignment. Look through your child's notebook. Work should be arranged by subject area. Check your child's planner for daily homework assignments. A blank planner may indicate that your child is not completing his or her homework. Students need to keep notes and assignments in their binders in order to be organized and prepared for class. Encourage your child to pack up all school materials each night before bed so that he or she is well prepared for school each day. Update school supplies from time to time. Binders become worn out, and students always need an adequate supply of pencils and loose-leaf paper. We need help in keeping our classroom supplied with hand sanitizer and boxes of tissue. We greatly appreciate any donations. If you have access to the internet, help your child to find appropriate websites to practice reading, grammar, and writing skills. There are numerous great sites!
