Tips for Success

• Encourage your child to study class notes daily, even if there is no written assignment.
• Look through your child's notebook.  Work should be arranged by subject area.
• Check your child's planner for daily homework assignments.  A blank planner may indicate that your child is not completing his or her homework.
• Students need to keep notes and assignments in their binders in order to be organized and prepared for class.
• Encourage your child to pack up all school materials each night before bed so that he or she is well prepared for school each day.
• Update school supplies from time to time.  Binders become worn out, and students always need an adequate supply of pencils and loose-leaf paper.
• We need help in keeping our classroom supplied with hand sanitizer and boxes of tissue.  We greatly appreciate any donations.
• If you have access to the internet, help your child to find appropriate websites to practice reading, grammar, and writing skills.  There are numerous great sites!
