Our grades represent the three main domains of earth: water, land, and sky. Sky allows us to soar and dream of new heights. It protects and shields us and enables us to fly. The eighth grade reflects sky, where students reach their middle school maturity and ready themselves for the next stage of life--high school.

All students at Crest Middle School are required to take core courses. These courses consist of Mathematics, Science, Language Arts, and Social Studies. On June 2, 2010, North Carolina adopted the Common Core State Standards in K-12 Mathematics and K-12 English Language Arts released by the National Governors Association Center for Best Practices and the Council of Chief State School Officers.
