		February Announcements

	You may order your yearbook including a name plate until 02/26/10. The last date to order yearbooks at www.smart-pay.com is February 26th.

	The CMS Library is hosting a book fair February 4th - 11th. Family Night is Tuesday, Feb. 9 - 3:30-6:30pm in the Media Center. Come out and enjoy the Dragons take on BMS's Eagles basketball and browse the Book Fair the same night. Students can receive a home work pass for visiting with a parent at Family Night Check out our book fair page at bookfairs.scholastic.com/homepage/crestmiddleschool .

Progress Reports go home on Tuesday, February 16th.

Springs pictures will be made on Tuesday, February 23rd.

Congratulations to the following students for being named as Crest Middle Schools Students of the Month for January 6th Grade - Zaria Jones 7th Grade - Taylor Mitchell 8th Grade - Christian Jessup

	Congratulations to Sara Ledbetter for being chosen as our Teacher of the Month for January. Here are some excerpts of what students said about Sara: "She likes to involve the kids in lessons. . .listens to our problems and helps us understand things if we don't get them. If we don't get something, she goes back over it for us." "She is the most caring teacher that you can ever have in this school. She makes you smile when you are sad, and also gives you chances when you do wrong." "She is a great teacher who makes class fun and educational. She loves all of us and wishes the best for everyone. . . .She is always honest and keeps great contact with students and parents." "She is a wonderful teacher--caring for all of her students, helping out when someone is hurt or needs help." "She has taught me so much about science."

	Our doors open to students at 7:30 am. Classes begin at 8:00 am. Our day ends at 3:00 pm. 1st load bus riders exit at 2:55 Car riders exit at 2:57 *2nd load bus riders exit at 3:00
