Guidance:
Today is the deadline to register for the October 27th ACT. To register logon to www.actstudent.org. It is recommended that you have completed Algebra 2 and Geometry before taking this test. Also--new to the registration this year--you will have to upload a photo of yourself during the registration process. It is HIGHLY recommended that you not wait until Friday to register for this test.
Athletics:
Attention all athletes: If you have anything borrowed from the athletic training room – boots, braces, ace wraps, neoprene supports, etc., please bring them back to Ms. Huntley in the training room.
Coaches Pletcher and Beckler will be holding the 2nd meeting for the 2012-13 CHS swim team on Tuesday in room 112 at 3:15. We will be making decisions for various aspects of the team. The meeting will be no longer than 30 minutes.

FTA will meet October 10th from 3:15-4:00pm.
Coach Page will be conducting a class on Hunter’s Education on October 8, 9, and 10. This class will teach safe gun handling and hunting ethics. This class is required before one can obtain their hunting license. Lifetime license are not valid until you have a Hunter’s Education certificate. The class will be taught in room 106 from 3:15 – 6:00. If interested, sign up in the office by October 5th. Any age can take this class.
Monday is the last day to join Key Club by bringing $25 dues to Mrs. Carey. Anyone who hasn't signed up to work at the fair needs to do so by Monday as well.
Other:
Congratulations to Megan Wray, CrestHigh School’s Carrousel Representative for 2012. Megan will represent our school in the Carolina’s Carrousel Parade in Charlotte on Thanksgiving Day, and in the Carrousel Scholarship program.
