Athletics:

Crest Ladies Tennis defeated RS Central  9-0 on Tuesday.  Winners for Crest were Lauren Scism,. Jordyn Powell, Ashton Amos, Chloe Parris, Morgan Parris, Madison Clary, Kennedy Dixon, Blair Hollifield, Katie Lewis, Brook Hollifield.

Crest defeated PolkCounty 6-3 at Crest on Wednesday.  Winning matches for Crest were, Lauren Scism, Jordyn Powell, Ashton Amos, Tori Harrington, Chloe Parris, Taylor Coles, Mallory Ware, Katie Lewis.

Clubs:

Key Club will meet next Tuesday for ice cream.  Please bring your $25 dues.  All students are welcome to join.  See Mrs. Carey if you are not able to attend.

Art Club will host Draw Something this Friday after school in room 306.  The Art Club Leadership team should plan to stay after and bring ideas for turning this year’s fair booth into a time machine. 

There will be a brief meeting after school on Friday in Mrs. Downs' classroom (116) for all students who are interested in being a part of the PEP Club.

Other:

Freshmen, Mrs. Sanders will be collecting money for your class of 2016 shirts in her office.  The first order will be placed Monday morning.

Seniors: If you didn't order your cap, gown, and graduation announcements last week, you may do so this Friday in the theater during lunch.

The last make-up day for Senior pictures is Monday, 10/8.  If you plan to purchase your pictures, there is a $15 sitting fee; if you are not purchasing pictures there is NO fee, but please stop by during your call time so your senior portrait can be included in the 2012-2013 Crestonian.

Current Crest High Beta Club members will have a meeting on Tuesday, September 18th from 3:15-4:30 in the library.  We will elect officers, go over the calendar, pay dues, and discuss upcoming service projects.  See Mrs. Chandler with any question.

Morgan Cox has organized a “CommunityBloodCenter of the Carolinas” blood drive.  It will take place this Sunday, September 16 at CentralUnitedMethodistChurch from 2 – 5 p.m.  Come save a life.
