Hours: 7:45am-3:30pm, Monday- Friday

Purpose

The purpose of the Burns Middle School Media Center is to provide materials to enrich and support the curriculum, to stimulate growth in factual knowledge and literary appreciation, and to provide a background of information which will enable students to make intelligent judgments and sharpen their critical evaluation skills.

Holdings

The Media Center currently holds:
-13,910 Fiction/Non-Fiction Books -1,999 Reference Books -58 Professional Books
-1,079 AV Materials -36 magazines/journals

23 computers are available for student
use in the main Media Center area & 26 additional computers
are located in the adjacent Media Center computer lab.
