Former Teacher and Coach, Antonio Wilson, passed away early Wednesday morning at 2am.  Wilson worked at Burns Junior then Middle School since its opening in 1976.  Wilson coached football and basketball during his 33 year tenure at Burns Middle.  But, his passion was basketball, he always took 'the boys' to camp and provided help for those who needed it.

In February 2008, Wilson had an undefeated basketball season winning the Tri-County Boys Basketball Championship.  Later that year, in December, Wilson retired from many years of service to Cleveland County Schools.

Coach fought valiantly against Pancreatic Cancer but lost his battle early morning on May 16, 2012.  Wilson is survived by his wife Iva Wilson, former BMS Media Specialist.
