The Burns Middle School Lady Eagles defeated Shelby Wednesday 1-0 to advance to the Tri-County Conference Championship game on Monday at Burns Middle School. Josie Rikar scored the winning goal with an assist by Ashley Boling. Good defensive play by Alisa McConnell, Abigale Patten, Savannah Honeycutt, Keily Bridges, Reagan Harp and Jenna Pharr as well as Cassie Waters in the goal. The Lady Eagles record now stands at 9-1.
