Football Raffle

Saturday at 6pm, Burns Football will be hosting their Reverse Raffle at the Burns Middle School Cafeteria.  Tickets are $100 and you will be provided 2 Alston Bridges BBQ dinners and a chance to win the Grand Prize of $5,000.  Ticket holders will also be eligible to win other prizes along the way.  Come out and GET EXCITED about the 2013 season, support the DOGS!

Orchestra and Band Concerts

Orchestra Concert on Thursday, May 23rd. The concert will be at 7:00 pm in the Gym. Please come out and enjoy some great music by some great students! They've been rocking out to the music from "The Incredibles".  The band concert is Thursday, May 30. If you have small children, they will LOVE this. It sounds exactly like the movie!

Please download the PDF below regarding End-Of-Year testing.  The PDF packet includes our schedule, MSL and EOC letters.  It is vital that students and parents are well-informed regarding the testing sessions.  Students should get an adequate about of rest before taking their scheduled exams.

Girls Soccer Hosts St Stephens

On Friday, May 17, 2013 Burns will host St Stephens in the 4th Round of the North Carolina State High School Playoffs.  Burns beat Enka 3-2 on Wednesday and they are now 21-2-1.  St Stephens crushed Ashbrook 6-0, St Stephens is now 19-3-2.  Game starts at 6pm at Ron Greene Stadium.  Admission is $5.

Relay this Friday Night

On Friday Night, Cleveland County Fairgrounds will host Relay for Life.  At 6pm Survivors take the track to participate in the Survivor's Walk.  At about 9pm the luminaries are lit surrounding the infield and visitors can view all those who will be honored and remembered for their fight against Cancer.
