Student Orientation Sessions Set in Cleveland County Schools                                            

Student orientation sessions in Cleveland County Schools will be held prior to the first day of classes on Monday, Aug. 25. Students new to the area who have not registered should call or go by the school they will attend as soon as possible.  Parents and new students may meet teachers and visit classrooms during open house and/or orientation sessions set at these schools at these times:

Tuesday, Aug. 19

Kings Mountain High: 5:30 p.m. (Grade 9 only)

Wednesday, Aug. 20: Middle/Intermediate Schools

Burns Middle:  6 p.m. (Grade 6 and new students only)

Crest Middle: 10 a.m. and 6 p.m. (Grade 6 and new students only)

Kings Mountain Intermediate: 5:30 p.m.(Grade 6 only)

Kings Mountain Middle:  1 p.m. (Grade 8 only); 3 p.m. (Grade 7 only)

Shelby Middle: 6-8 p.m. (Open House)

Thursday, Aug. 21: High Schools

Burns High: 6 p.m. (Grade 9 only); 7-8 p.m. (Grade 10-12 new students)

Crest High: 1:30-2:30 (Open house); 5:30 p.m. (Grade 9 only)

Kings Mountain High: 6:30 p.m. (Grades 10-12)

Shelby High:  6:30 p.m. (Grade 9 only)

Thursday, Aug. 21: Elementary/Intermediate Schools

Bethware: 1-2 p.m. and 5:30-6:30 p.m.

Boiling Springs: 1-3 p.m.

Casar: 4-7 p.m.

East: 3-5 p.m.

Elizabeth: 9 to 10 a.m. (Grades K-1); 10:30-11:30 a.m. (Grades 2-3); 11:30-12:30 (Grades 4 & 5)

Fallston: 9:30 a.m. and 7 p.m.

Graham: 12:30-3 p.m.

Grover:  3-5 p.m.

James Love: 1 p.m.

Jefferson: 12:30-3 p.m.

Kings Mountain Intermediate 5:30 p.m. (Grade 5 only)

Marion Intermediate: 9-11 a.m.

North: 3-5 p.m.

Springmore: 3-5 p.m. - (New Times)

Township Three: 10 a.m.-1 p.m.

Union: 10-11 a.m. and 5:30-6:30 p.m.
