21 Additional CCS Teachers Earn National Board Certification
Twenty-one Cleveland County educators earned their National Board certification during 2007-20068, according to results released this week by the National Board for Professional Teaching Standards.
National Board Certification is a voluntary process achieved through a rigorous performance-based assessment that takes one to three years to complete and measures what accomplished teachers and counselors should know and be able to do. Certification is available to educators in 27 fields. The new NBCTs are as follows:
