CCS Students to Participate in NC Honors Choruses This Week |

Twenty five students from Cleveland County Schools are among the hundreds selected to participate in NC Honors Chorus performances this weekend during the NC Music Educators’ Conference in Local students participating in the Elementary Honors Chorus are Emma Carroll, Madison Latham and Cierrah Brooks of Boiling Springs Elementary; Charlcy Carpenter, Anna Fulbright, Hannah Rikard and Jessie Hudson of Casar Elementary; Victoria Fortenberry of Elizabeth Elementary: Alazay Howze of Washington Elementary; Madison Hartness, Rebekah Bridges, Lyndsay Henderson, Caroline Waters, Erica Carpenter and Makenzi Vinesett of Kings Mountain Intermediate; Ajira Maddox and McKenzie Lail of Fallston Elementary; Dalia Wilson of Township Three Elementary; and Carmen Owens, Molly Hartness and Wesley Henson of West Elementary. Participating in the Middle School Honors Chorus will be Joe Callahan of Teachers of these students are Jennifer Cabaniss of Boiling Springs, Barbara McNeilly of Casar, RoseAnn Evans of Elizabeth, Jami Bumgarner of Washington, Lynn Echols of Kings Mountain Intermediate, Susan Fogleman of Fallston, Angie Costner of Township Three, Monica Martin of West, Ashley Smith of Burns Middle, Sherry Young of Kings Mountain Middle and Kenneth Brooks of Crest High. Several of these teachers also are involved at the Honors Chorus performances. Mrs. Cabaniss serves as a coordinator of the elementary chorus, and Mrs. Brooks coordinates the middle school chorus.
