Fifth-graders got the opportunity to see a wide variety of job and professional opportunities available to them at the annual Cleveland County Schools’ Career Day held March 3rd at Gardner-Webb University .
Exhibitors representing local businesses, industries, media, law enforcement, transportation, medical and emergency services participated in the event attended by some 1,200 students. Students and faculty from local high schools and Cleveland Community College and Gardner-Webb University also demonstrated program offerings at their campuses.
The career fair was coordinated by elementary school counselors.
