West Elementary students lead Pledge at Jan. 12 Board of Ed. Meeting

Every Cleveland County Schools Board of Education meeting begins with the Pledge of Allegiance – This time led by nine of West’s students.

Kindergarteners Tee Hollifield and Cristhian Ramos-Perez, First Graders Elizabeth Bolt and Dion’Dre Brooks, Second Graders Keedon Linney and Zyaire Tate, Third Graders Branson Bouchard and Amariana Goode, and Fourth Grader Railey Bolt opened the Jan. 12 Board of Education meeting by leading the Pledge of Allegiance. 

The students all shared a few words making sure to make note that they enjoyed “outside time” and P.E. (Physical Education).

Each student received a certificate of appreciation for their participation.
