Every Cleveland County Schools Board of Education meeting begins with the Pledge of Allegiance – This time led by six of Washington's brightest.

Kindergartener Meadow Parsons, First Grader Khonlee Bolton, Second Grader Harmony Washington, and Third Grader Kayvahn Bonner, Fourth Grader Savannah Harrington, and Fifth Grader Jasmine Medina started the Sept. 22  Board of Education meeting by leading the Pledge of Allegiance.  The students mentioned that they enjoyed working with iPods, the science kits, and in the computer lab.  They also talked about how they appreciate how their teachers never give up on them.
