Shelby High Football Buddies featured on current School Matters

This week’s guests on School Matters are Shelby High’s Kameron Hawk and Avery Mooney, and Laura Rucker of Jefferson Elementary.

Guest Host Greg Shull begins the program with Mr. Hawk and Mrs. Rucker during the first half of the program discussing the importance of mentoring and the Football Buddies program. During the second segment, Mrs. Rucker is joined by Mr. Mooney who talks about being a role model at Jefferson and what it is like being part of the Shelby High Golden Lions football team.

School Matters airs at various times each day on C19 TV, the Time-Warner Cable community access channel operated by Cleveland Community College. This episode will air through November 19.

School Matters is designed to provide information about programs, events, and other local educational issues. Cleveland County Schools’ faculty, staff, and students as well as other community guests, are featured in the program.
