Cleveland County Elementary Honors Chorus

The Cleveland County Elementary Honors Chorus, comprised of over 125 select students, will perform at Shelby High School on Thursday, April 7th at 7 p.m.  The concert, directed by CCS music teachers, is free and open to the public.

Musical selections include “The Star-Spangled Banner” by Francis Scott Key, “Oye” by Jim Papoulis, “Colors of the Wind” from Pocahontas Arranged by Mac Huff, “Dance Around the Room” Arranged by Sally Albrecht and Jay Althouse, “Ching a Ring Chaw (and Great Gittin’ Up Mornin’)” by Linda Spevacek, “Jordan’s Angels” by Rollo Dillworth, “United We Stand” by Sally Albrecht and Jay Althouse, and “Jazz Cantate” by Andy Beck.

You are welcome to attend to enjoy a fantastic musical experience featuring students from Bethware, Boiling Springs, Casar, East, Fallston, Graham, Grover, James Love, Jefferson, North, Marion, Springmore, Township Three, Union, Washington, and West elementary schools and Kings Mountain and Shelby intermediate schools.
