The State Board of Education recently increased some licensure fees. Effective January 1, 2017, all teachers and licensed staff will have to pay a $35 fee to renew their license at the end of their five-year renewal cycle. This is a substantial change because previously there was no fee to renew a teaching license for individuals employed by a school system. Since this change will eventually impact all of our licensed staff, we wanted to communicate this information to you as quickly as possible. Please know this will apply to all teachers and licensed staff renewing their license this year.
