Purchasing

One of the goals of the Purchasing Department is to ensure our buyers get the best products and services at the best price. Our board policy mandates any single purchase over $2500 requires competitive quotes so there are plenty of opportunities for vendors, both existing and new, to offer goods and services to the school system.

Vendor Relations

Every school and department makes their own purchasing decisions based on their needs and budget. Our role is to verify vendors are in good standing with Federal and State agencies and with Local policies.

If you are interested in becoming a vendor or are an existing vendor and need to update your information login at the link below.

Surplus Property

Surplus property from Cleveland County Schools is sold via the Internet through an on-line auction service, GovDeals.  Online auctions are conducted as property becomes available in place of the “traditional” auctions held once a year.  Citizens will be offered the opportunity to purchase surplus property year-round.  Registration is required for bidding.  All items are sold “as is”, and payment is made online through GovDeals.  Please review the items and conditions before bidding.

To find out what surplus items Cleveland County Schools has available for auction, visit GovDeals at www.govdeals.com, use the advanced search option, and select Cleveland County Schools from the list of sellers.  If Cleveland County Schools is not listed, there are no surplus items currently available for auction.

For questions about using the GovDeals website, please contact GovDeals at 800-613-0156.

For additional information about  surplus items, contact Rob McDaniel at 704-476-8048 or via e-mail at rdmcdaniel@clevelandcountyschools.org.
