CCS Work History
I worked at Grover as an Exceptional Children’s assistant for three years and at North Shelby School for 2 years as a pre-k assistant. I am currently in my first year at Graham as a Preschool ABA Tech in an Exceptional Children’s class.

I graduated from Piedmont High School and earned an associates degree from Cleveland Community College.

I have been married to Dell Burdick for 11 years. We have four children – Payton, who is 11 years of age and attends Crest Middle; Tucker, who is 10 years of age and Braxton, who is 8 years of age – both attending Springmore Elementary; and Adalyn, who is currently a year old. I also have a brother, Jonathon Greene, and sister, Angie Guffey.

What do you like best about your school/work location?
I love the children that I work with. The smiles they have on their face after accomplishing something new makes it worth everything we do!

If you could give students one piece of advice, what would it be and why?
Never give up!

Why is Cleveland County Schools special to you?
I love working in Cleveland County Schools. It is very special to me because of the wonderful education that I know my children are receiving daily. I am very thankful for that, and I believe CCS provides an excellent education to all children of Cleveland County, no matter what their circumstance. We believe all children can learn.
