CCS Work History
This will be my 2nd year with Cleveland County schools teaching 3rd grade at James Love Elementary. GO KNIGHTS!

I graduated from Robbinsville High School and moved toward the Shelby/Gastonia area. I attended Gardner-Webb University and obtained my degree in Elementary Education. I will begin Graduate school in August at Gardner-Webb University to pursue my masters in Curriculum and Instruction.

My family is my rock! I have been married 14 years to my sweet husband, Les Scism, a Crest Charger graduate. We have two beautiful children, Peyton, an eighth grader at Crest Middle, and Laney, a fourth grader at Boiling Springs Elementary. We love baseball, gymnastics, and dance. We spend our weekends at dance competitions or on the baseball field and honestly wouldn't have it any other way.

What do you like best about your school/work location?
James Love Elementary is extremely blessed to have passionate teachers who work together to achieve student success. We believe in every student and are determined to overcome any obstacle we may face. James Love students and staff are the best Cleveland County has to offer :)

If you could give students one piece of advice, what would it be and why?
Work hard, respect those around you and never give up. The only one who can determine your future is YOU!

Why is Cleveland County Schools special to you?
Cleveland County Schools is a place where all students are given the same opportunities for success. Highly-qualified teachers are in the classrooms making a difference daily.
