CCS Work History
This is my first year with Cleveland County Schools. My previous years in education were spent working as a third-grade teacher and assistant principal with Cumberland County Schools.

Education
I earned a B.A. in Elementary Education from the University of North Carolina at Charlotte and a Masters in Education Administration from Grand Canyon University.

Family
My wonderful wife, Lindsay, and I met while studying at UNC Charlotte. This year we will celebrate our 9th wedding anniversary. In June 2014, we received our greatest blessing with the birth of our identical triplet daughters Sophie, Harper, and Bristol.

What do you like best about your school/work location?

It is always a joy to work with a staff that is so dedicated and passionate about the students they serve. The dedication of the staff at Township Three is second to none.

If you could give students one piece of advice, what would it be and why?
Mistakes are meant for learning, not repeating. We all make mistakes, so learn the most from the ones you do make.

Why is Cleveland County Schools special to you?
With this being my first year with Cleveland County Schools, I appreciate the warm welcoming and support I have received in making this transition. I am excited for the opportunity to continue to serve students alongside the great educators of CCS.
